This post is fueled by coffee and glimpses of sunshine.

So, I decided to start a blog.

I feel like this is a very basic endeavor for Stay at Home Moms.

However, I guess I wouldn't really know considering this whole thing is a first for me. I can see the appeal though. Writing gives an escape from the everyday mundane of waking, feeding, cleaning, and - if I am ever so lucky - a quick workout and shower (but usually only if I am awake before the roosters).

Of course, there is always fear in the unknown. What will I write about? Will people even want to read what I have to say? Do I even want to read what I write? Will I actually find the time to write consistently? I am an over thinker - can you tell? I worry all the time. I am anxious about everything. And I can ramble for days - just ask my husband!

Despite my flaws and failures, I am trusting in the hope I have that this is where I am supposed to be. All my experiences have not been vain, they have been perfectly collected, perscepted, and calculated for this very moment. Someone, somewhere, needs the encouragement that (I hope) is found in my words.

So, I decided to start a blog.

The baby is napping (or at least was at the start of this post) and momma is about to start a new beginning. I am writing my first blog. Although it may take me all day to complete, I am confident that it will be worth it. And if not, the time that I was able to spend alone, with a cup of coffee, will be worth it in itself.

So, I decided to start a blog. And I hope you will join me on this journey.
